Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our premium matcha and ordering process.

What is the difference between Ceremonial and Culinary grade matcha?

Ceremonial grade is made from the youngest tea leaves, offering a delicate, naturally sweet flavor intended for whisking with water. Culinary grade has a bolder, more astringent profile designed to stand up to other ingredients in lattes, smoothies, and baking.

How should I store my matcha to keep it fresh?

Matcha is sensitive to light, heat, and air. We recommend storing your tin in a cool, dark place or the refrigerator. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed after every use to prevent oxidation and maintain its vibrant green color.

Where is your matcha sourced from?

All our matcha is sustainably sourced directly from family-run tea farms in Uji and Shizuoka, Japan, ensuring the highest standards of purity and traditional harvesting methods.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Domestic shipping usually takes 3-5 business days, while international shipping can take 7-14 business days depending on your location.

Do you offer returns on opened products?

Due to the perishable nature of tea, we cannot accept returns on opened tins. However, if your order arrived damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact our support team within 14 days for a full replacement or refund.

Is your matcha tested for heavy metals and radiation?

Yes, every batch undergoes rigorous third-party laboratory testing for heavy metals, pesticides, and radiation to ensure it meets international safety standards and provides a clean energy boost.
